Let's build something great together!\nFor this role, we look for individuals to be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering equipment, products, and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner.\nPrimary Responsibilities\n• Operates vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws\n• Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations\n• Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals\n• Assists with loading of or loads and unloads goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads empty skids and returns all equipment to designated area\n• Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete\n• Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to Shipping Supervisor\n• Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns\n• Performs other related duties as assigned\nSkills & Qualifications\n• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points\n• Ability to remain focused in a busy environment\n• Must hold either a commercial drivers license or chauffeur's license depending on state, appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated\n• Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations\n• Must pass DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs\n• Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.\n• Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time\n• Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time\n• Must be able to travel frequently\n• CDL drivers may be required to be clean shaven in order to deliver to EquipmentShare customers who have this requirement\n• This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen\nWhy We're a Better Place to Work\n• Competitive salary\n• Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits coverage for full-time employees\n• Generous paid time off (PTO) plus company-paid holidays\n• 401(k) and company match\n• Annual tool and boot reimbursements for those in applicable jobs\n• Fitness Membership stipends plus seasonal and year-round wellness challenges in applicable jobs\n• Company-sponsored events (annual family gatherings, food truck nights, and more)\n• Volunteering and local charity initiatives that help you nurture and grow the communities you call home.
