SUMMARY:\nUnder direct supervision, the Warehouse Driver operates a company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment. This role arranges the most efficient route. The Warehouse Driver also provides warehouse support at the branch location as needed.\nJOB DUTIES\n• Operates company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment as required.\n• Sorts assignments and arrange\n...\ns the most efficient route.\n• Maintains Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations.\n• Organizes products in reverse delivery order and loads in delivery vehicle.\n• Unloads products at customer location and obtains customer signature on packing slip to show proof of delivery.\n• Determines which items need to be picked, checked and shipped from sales order.\n• Prepares items for delivery to customer.\n• Secures packages to make sure no items are damaged in shipping to customer.\n• May assist with restocking of products on shelves.\n• Performs other duties as assigned.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nTypically requires a high school diploma or GED.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES\n• Ability to read and interpret packing slips and delivery instructions.\n• Ability to document any information obtained from customer during delivery.\n• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.\n• Basic computer skills.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nMust be able to move up to 100lbs and lift up to 50 lbs.\nLICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:\n• Valid driver’s license and annual review of driving record.\n• Road test is required upon hire.\n• Internal training and certifications required upon hire.\n• Medical Card / DOT Physical.\n• May be required to earn safety certifications for specific customers.\nCOMPANY INFORMATION:\nMotion Industries offers an excellent benefits package which includes options for healthcare coverage, 401(k), tuition, reimbursement, vacation, sick, and holiday pay.\nNot the right fit?
